My favorite thing is developing friendships with my guys. It’s awesome being apart of God’s work by serving with all of you to help teach and reach these middle schoolers.
  • What were you like in Middle School?
I was pretty shy and quiet at church, but I warmed up more when I was around my friends.
  • What is a little known fact about you?

  • What is your favorite thing about serving with MSM?
My favorite thing about serving in the MSM is the relationships I am building. I have been building friendships with both the middle schoolers and the other leaders. It has been so awesome to hear the different testimonies and to serve with such amazing people!
  • What were you like in Middle School?
As a middle schooler, I was very quiet and shy! In the sixth grade, I was so quiet that some people made jokes about me, wondering if I spoke!
  • What is a little known fact about you?
I once saw a flying car! No joke!

Getting the opportunity to build relationships with the kids but more importantly show them Jesus and how amazing He is.

  • What is your favorite thing about serving with MSM?
I love, love, love the relationships I build with the girls I lead.  It is so amazing to get to know them and, through our friendship, encourage them and point them to Christ.
  • What were you like in Middle School?
I was fairly quiet in Middle School.  Not necessarily shy, just quiet.  I enjoyed hanging out with my friends and meeting new people, but I was much more willing to let others talk than have the attention on me.

My favorite thing about serving in the MSM is relationship building with not only the people but Jesus as well. Serving makes my relationship with Christ much more rich.
  • What were you like in Middle School?
In middle school I was athletic and goofy.  I didn’t have a certain clique I hung with but grazed with every group.  I was the comedian. LOL! Go figure!
  • What is a little known fact about you?

Jessie Pryor
Jessie started attending Grace in 2013 and have been serving with MSM since summer 2017.

  • What is your favorite thing about serving with MSM?
So far, my favorite thing with Middle Schoolers is how much energy they have! Then seeing them use that energy towards wanting to learn more about Christ and how He can impact their lives. I’m excited to have more “favorite things”!
  • What were you like in Middle School?
Ahh, middle school. Looking back, I was a somewhat quiet kid. I considered myself a tomboy, so my way of making friends was playing sports with them. I was eager to grow my faith, which was good, but I think I went about it at a surface level and didn’t go very deep until I hit high school. I pray that these middle schoolers attack their faith head-on! Don’t be afraid of the unknown or making mistakes. God’s bigger than all of that.
  • What is a little known fact about you?
I’m a ginger (red-head) and I’m actually allergic to ginger!

  • What is your favorite thing about serving with MSM?
To serve the Lord and proclaim His name in all possible ways. Interested in working with the kids and inspired by their innocent nature. Makes me realize the responsibility of guiding young people in the right way and sharing the Gospel among them. Reminds me of the verse in Proverbs 22:6 – “Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it”.
  • What were you like in Middle School?
A mix of both serious and careless attitude. Was committed to the things I liked more such as music, used to play keyboard in church and roam out with friends and was careless in all academic details. But had a lot of fun.
  • What is a little known fact about you?
Love to hang out with people and enjoy their company. Interested in playing and listening to music. Like to travel a lot and adventure things. Passionate to serve the Lord and learn discipleship.

I was very quiet. Sports was an idol-especially the game of cricket. I could list the batting line up of all 11 players of all the 9 cricket playing countries at that time; was huge into the craft of spin bowling (similar to pitching in baseball)- leg spin, off spin, leg cutter, off cutter, flipper, googly and can go on…..
  • What is a little known fact about you?
I can play badminton with both right and left hand, don’t know how to swim and yes, I bleed blue!
