We want our middle school students (6th – 8th graders) to enjoy building relationships and hearing biblical, relevant teaching. We seek to encourage them to participate with their family in the body of the church through worship and service, as well as create contexts for them to build relationships with one another and sit under biblical teaching.
How do we do this?
During the 9:45a service in the Upstairs Café, all Middle School students, 6th-8th grade, are invited to join us as we seek to grow through discussing that morning’s sermon and applying it to our lives.
Part of the process for preparing our Middle School students for high school and adulthood is equipping them through God’s word to think rightly about God, themselves, and what God expects of them in this life. We do this preaching by God’s word regularly, and putting them in gender and grade specific small groups, where they will work together to apply God’s word to every area of life.
